Comfort clothing

While some might call the inside with the flap archaic, the reality is that it remains an iconic and comforting piece of clothing. The red suit is like comfort food only a warm embrace for the skin. As a kid in the maritime, the old staple fast food was tomato soup and crackers. When I saw this suit on the Stanfield’s site it just called out. So, took a chance and bought. No regrets. It’s a warm snuggle on a cool evening. The suit fits and it’s like being unconstructed by clothes, yet warm. Now, the only thing I’d change is to provide an option to go without the buttoned flap. You are not going to drop your drawers suddenly if wearing outside under jeans or coveralls. But that is minor. Just love ‘em.

Ridiculous Design

Please take note of the ridiculous idea of 8 buttons on the back flap which also hangs down. Trying to wrestle 8 buttons during an urgent call of nature is a challenge I am not willing to embrace any longer not to mention what the flap usually ends up hanging into. Also the opening is way to small. After trying to live with one button and the silly flap design causing a few embarrassing moments at the most in opportune times I cut a vertical slice through everything and now just suffer from draft issues defeating the purpose. I would have returned them to the store initially but they were washed once before I realized this design error. I worked outdoors all my life and always had stanfields underwear but have never encountered such a rediculous design flaw. Feed back is a gift and I sincerely hope this review is taken seriously and the original slash back access returns . I look for Canadian made products but let’s put logic into design of such simplistic commodity. Thanks
