Muin X Stanfield's Youth Orange T-Shirt - EVERY CHILD MATTERS "QUILL"
This authentic Indigenous designed, made-in-Canada orange t-shirt is a product of collaborative partners, Muin Clothing and Stanfield’s Ltd, to honour The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
The idea for using Porcupine Quills to create a Quillwork design is rooted deep in the traditional art of the Mi’kmaw people. Porcupine quills were used on clothing, accessories and birch bark containers. The Mi’kmaw were often referred to as the “porcupine people”, so much so that the quillwork has always been highly desired by all.
$1 from every t-shirt will go to the Nu-mi-quai-ni-mak Fund (“I remember them fund”) administered by the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (NCTR).
