For over 169 years, we have been dedicated to crafting high-quality apparel that embodies the resilience, the ruggedness, and the spirit of Canada.

Our commitment to Canadian manufacturing remains steadfast. From our Factory in Truro, Nova Scotia, we design, knit, cut, and sew many of our products, ensuring that each piece reflects the quality and craftsmanship you've come to expect from us.

We acknowledge that some items produced for U.S.-based retailers operating in Canada are imported due to channel dynamics. This approach allows us to remain competitive and meet diverse market demands. However, our core values are deeply rooted in Canada, and we are unwavering in our dedication to supporting local communities and economies. We’ve been working on an exciting project that will take our company back to its roots and showcase an exceptional new Made in Canada product collection, launching on Stanfields.com and at your local independent retailer in Spring 2025.

Throughout our history, we've adapted to the needs of our nation. Notably, during the Klondike Gold Rush, WWI, WWII, the Afghanistan War, and more recently during the COVID-19 pandemic, we retooled our Truro factory to produce disposable isolation gowns, contributing to Canada's efforts in combating the pandemic. Our business and its people have always stood by Canadians during the country’s most pressing and challenging times. Stanfield’s is an Icon and the literal fabric of our nation.
